What's Included

Turnkey production, from stage door to last dance.

Every private event booking includes the rooms, the crew, the orchestra, and the bilingual hosting. No external rentals. No surprise add-ons. You arrive with a guest list; we deliver the night.

01 — The Rooms

Two stages, one floor, up to 220 guests.

The Salon (120 seated, 180 cocktail) hosts the resident timba orchestra on a raised wooden stage with full backline. The Patio (60 seated, 40 additional cocktail) opens onto Calle O'Reilly for arrivals and after-parties. Combined buyout: 220 guests across both rooms with separate bars, two DJ/MC positions, and dedicated coat check.

  • Salon stage: 6.4m × 3.2m, hardwood, drum riser, piano anchor
  • Patio stage: 3.8m × 2.4m, weather-rated canopy
  • Dedicated entrance on Calle San Pedro for guest arrivals
  • Climate-controlled interior · Open-air patio with retractable shade

02 — The Production

Full A/V, lighting, and broadcast-ready audio.

A house engineer runs the FOH console for both rooms. The system is calibrated for timba's horn-and-percussion dynamics — vocals sit forward, brass cuts without harshness, the conga floor breathes. Mains, monitors, subs, and a 24-channel digital desk are in-house.

  • Line-array mains + dual 18" subs per room
  • 24-channel digital desk with iPad remote
  • Stage wash, ambient, and effect lighting pre-rigged
  • Two wireless mic kits, four IEM packs, talkback to both bars

03 — The Talent

Los Hermanos Mendoza, resident for nine years.

An eleven-piece timba outfit led by pianist Rafael "El Chivo" Mendoza, three-time Cubadisco nominee. They've played every private event the venue has hosted since 2015 — they know the room, the lighting cues, and how to read a corporate crowd in three songs.

  • 11-piece: piano, bass, congas, timbales, bongó, three brass, two vocals
  • Optional Latin jazz quartet for cocktail hour
  • DJ for transitions and after-party, no external rider required

04 — The Hosting

Bilingual MC and a single point of contact.

Every private booking is led by a designated event producer who stays onsite from load-in to load-out. Your MC delivers run-of-show in Spanish, English, or both — perfect for diplomatic receptions, international incentive groups, and bilingual weddings. A Sample Evening

From the first guest to the last dance, planned to the minute.

A typical 180-guest corporate buyout runs four hours from doors to close. Here is how a recent Havana Club anniversary unfolded — your event producer will adapt every beat to your run-of-show.

  1. 20:00 45 min

    Arrival on the Patio

Guests enter through the dedicated Calle San Pedro door. The Patio bar serves the welcome cocktail — for this event, a Chancleta spritz with guava and aged rum. A Latin jazz quartet plays at conversation volume. Coat check opens at the Salon entrance.

  2. 20:45 30 min

    Call to the Salon

The bilingual MC invites guests into the Salon. Three passed canapés circulate — empanadas, croquetas de jamón, and a plantain bite with smoked fish. Los Hermanos Mendoza open with a son cubano set as guests find their seats.

  3. 21:15 60 min

    Dinner service and speeches

A plated three-course menu by consulting chef Léa Marín: ropa vieja, congri, and a tropical dessert trio. The MC introduces each speaker with a 90-second bio in Spanish and English. The orchestra drops to instrumental timba during toasts.

  4. 22:30 90 min

    Timba set and dancing

Tables clear in fifteen minutes. Los Hermanos Mendoza launch the dance set — four horn-driven numbers, three ballads, a chancleta-themed call-and-response. The DJ takes over at midnight with a Latin-house set until close. Last call is 00:45.

We hosted a 180-guest brand anniversary for our distributor summit. Rafael's orchestra learned our company anthem in a week. The bilingual MC ran the program in Spanish and English without a single slip. Our regional directors are still talking about it — three of them have asked to bring their families back next year.
